For the past six years, Justin G. Roy has been building and managing small businesses. He works with individuals and companies on their social and new media strategies as part of growing and maintaining their personal or corporate brand through the use of WordPress, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other tools.

Justin teaches courses on how professionals and brands can build and maintain their online reputation through the use of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Blogging.

Currently, Justin is the Director of Social Media at Nichols College. In this role, Justin is responsible for establishing, building, and overseeing online marketing, outreach strategies and building brand visibility through the use of websites, blogging/blogs, and social networks. Manage/supervise over-arching social media campaigns including social media strategies, distribution and partnership channels, content planning.

As a Web 2.0 Ambassador he collaborates with internal departments to develop and maintain process workflow for online campaigns, increase awareness of Web 2.0 tools and provide training and guidance on campus for students and staff.

Justin’s work has been noted in several publications, including Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine, Architectural Record, Professional Services Management Journal, McGraw Hill Engineering News Record (ENR), Land Development Today, American Water Wastewater Association (AWWA), Association of Facilities Engineering (AFE), IOMA Principals Report and The Worcester Business Journal.

Previously, as the Chief Operations and Marketing Officer for SullivanKreiss, a professional services management consulting firm, Justin was responsible for planning, executing, and measuring all internal operations, social media and marketing campaigns, integrated marketing, branding, internet marketing, event planning.

Justin was recently a panelist on the Chicago Media and Marketing Association Panel “Social Media Realities,” and was the keynote speaker at the DDi Leadership Forum on using social media in recruiting and retaining the next generation.

Justin G. Roy is also the Co-Founder of Networking For A Cause, a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness for non-profits and like-minded people. The group focuses on creating word of mouth marketing for non-profits by connecting them with civic-minded young professionals.

Justin holds a B.A. in International Business from Assumption College in Massachusetts. He was the recipient of the 2004 Crown and Shield Award for his civic and global service and leadership.
